JULY 16, 1961 – JANUARY 5, 2019
This morning while aimlessly scrolling through Facebook, I learned that we have lost the amazing Deirdre Carroll. Condolences and positives vibes go out to Bill Hanot and their filmmaker daughter Cassidy Carroll.
While we were not close, we were friends and she was always so kind to me. One of my fondest memories of Deirdre was seeing her, Billy and Dean at one of the Further Festivals at Marymoor Park 9/18/10 in the pouring rain. We all hung out for most of the show and had a fantastic (and wet) time.
I don’t think I ever saw Deirdre again after that, but we did chat on Facebook a bit. I will always remember her awesome smile, contagious laugh and love of music. Rest in Peace my friend and know that you are already greatly missed.
