The Quality, Safety, Risk and Compliance experts US conference Horizons Seminar will include presentations from Boeing, Reynolds Group, Mainardi & Company as well as risk management panel sessions
Quality, safety, risk and compliance software developer, Ideagen, is to host a key user group at Horizons Seminar for its US client base which will have a focus on risk and the evolution of risk management.
The Horizons Seminar event, which will take place at the Drake Hotel in Chicago on Wednesday, August 17th, will also include presentations from industry thought leaders including Boeing, Reynolds Group and Mainardi & Company.
The one day seminar will host users of Ideagens market leading quality and safety management software, Q-Pulse, and its world leading audit automation product, Pentana.
Ben Dorks, Ideagens Chief Customer Officer, said the conference will allow customers operating in different sectors to discuss common risk management themes and best practice.
He said: The key to effective risk management is communication and we want to try and encourage delegates to communicate with one another during our Horizons event, sharing their experiences and knowledge from their own industries and organisations.
The Horizons conference provides us with an ideal opportunity in which to do just that and I am personally looking forward to meeting and speaking with our customers in the US.
I am also particularly excited by the calibre of speakers we have this year, which will provide key risk management insights from some prominent thought leaders in the industry.
Ideagens speakers for the event include Patrick Manley, Flight Operations Safety ASAP Program Manager at Boeing, Marsha Hairston Director of IT Audit at Reynolds Group, and Robert Mainardi, Founder & President of Mainardi & Company.
Mr Manley will discuss Boeings risk management programs and how Ideagens Q-Pulse software and services supports safety action programs and operational risk assessments. Mrs Hairston will address how Reynolds leverage Ideagens Pentana software for fraud investigation programmes while Mr Mainardi discusses the key to identifying root cause and how to facilitate change within an organisation.
Ideagens US partner, ECL2, will also conduct a session on maintaining a training programme.
Mr Dorks added: As well as discussions on risk management, quality, safety and compliance in general, we will also provide guests with a sneak peak of what we have planned for our Q-Pulse and Pentana products in the coming months.
It really is shaping up to be a fantastic event and one that we are really looking forward to.
Ideagens Horizons seminar will also provide attendees with sessions on Preparing and Aligning to ISO:9001:2015, Who Owns Enterprise Risk as well as interactive panel discussions on change and risk management.
