Today is the last day of 2018 – a great day to celebrate and reflect on the past year – and the possibilities of the New Year.
Last year our little family started a new tradition – feasting on a super tasty tri-tip from Seaside Market in Cardiff. This meat is infused through a “secret process” with a burgundy pepper marinade – and has developed a reputation throughout San Diego and beyond as being so addictive that it is affectionately known as “Cardiff Crack“.
But we don’t stop there …. we also really like their poke, and this year we got a couple of super ono flavors. Stacia and I have to be quick to get any, because poke is the 2 year old Ava Kalea’s 2nd favorite food – right after sushi.
So we’ll celebrate today with some tasty food and maybe a movie or two, taking special care to be grateful for what we have, all the trials and tribulations from 2018 and looking forward to all the great things that 2019 has in store.
How do YOU celebrate the New Year?
BTW – do you set New Year’s resolutions? What are your goals for 2019? Do you have any predictions for the coming year?
