Woodblock Restaurant RedmondAfter a successful grand opening, Carolyn and Tony Scott have added lunch to Woodblock restaurant’s offerings. Lunch is now on daily at the Redmond restaurant from 11am to 3pm—happy hour kicks in right after that, running from 3pm to 6pm, with dinner starting at 4pm.
The lunch menu is made up of shareable starters plus salads and sandwiches. Kick off a leisurely lunch with fried calamari or mussels with fennel and bacon to share, or keep it simple with a grilled Caesar salad or a warming bowl of butternut squash chile con carne.
For a heartier lunch, there’s the Caribbean Pork Sandwich with garlic and citrus-marinated pork, cilantro, red peppers, and caramelized onion, served on a toasted baguette, or a BBQ Brisket Sandwich with braised brisket, maple-bourbon barbeque sauce, and horseradish slaw, served on toasted brioche. There are also burgers—the Woodblock classic with house-smoked pork belly or a Blue Cheese Truffle Burger with herbed mushrooms, bleu cheese, and roasted garlic aioli. There’s a killer vegetarian option too: the Southwest Stuffed Portobello Sandwich: a savory mushroom filled with black beans, quinoa, corn, and red peppers, topped with Monterey Jack, roasted, and served on toasted brioche with baby greens.
Woodblock is also introducing some daily specials: Mondays now mean half-off bottles of wine and charcuterie boards, and Tuesdays bring half-off whiskey pours. Before opening, co-owner Tony Scott put together a wide-ranging collection of American whiskeys for the restaurant, and he’s excited to share some of his favorite top-shelf pours at a friendly price.

Opened in March of 2016, Woodblock is a restaurant located in Downtown Redmond, in the Old Town Lofts. Owners Tony & Carolyn Scott created Woodblock as a gathering place for their community, where locals could meet over great food and drink. The restaurant is named for the printing technique where layers of color come together to create the final image—at Woodblock, layers of flavor come together to create bright, bold dishes paired with warm hospitality. The 76-seat restaurant is both cozy and airy, with dozens of hanging pendant lights and a gray and yellow color palate. Woodblock is open daily from 11am to 3pm for lunch, then from 4pm to 10pm for dinner—until 11pm on Thursday, Friday, andSaturday. Happy hour is daily from 3pm to 6pm in the bar, with a late night menu available from 10pm to close Sunday through Wednesday and 11pm to midnight Thursday through Saturday.
