The Roxy in Encinitas to Host June 13 Benefit for Local Cancer Programs

The Roxy Grand Opening BenefitAfter an extensive remodel, iconic North County restaurant The Roxy Encinitas will celebrate its official grand opening with a special event to benefit the Scripps MD Anderson Cancer Center and The Seany Foundation on Tuesday, June 13, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Famous for its falafel burgers, The Roxy has been a fixture in the Encinitas community since opening in 1978 at 517 South Coast Highway 101, Encinitas, 92024.  In recent months, the restaurant’s premises have been remodeled in the jazz and art deco style of the 1920s. The Roxy has also expanded its food and beverage offerings and now offers live music nightly, as well as weekend brunch. Local Flower Farm Dramm & Echter Donates Thousands of Pink Gerbera Daisies to Susan G. Komen San Diego 3-Day Participants

Dramm & EchterOn Saturday, November 19th, during the Susan G. Komen San Diego 3-Day, Dramm & Echter, a locally owned flower farm in Encinitas, CA, will hand out beautiful, pink Gerbera daisies to thousands of Komen San Diego 3-Day participants. According to Amber Livingston, Susan G. Komen 3-Day Specialist, “The Susan G. Komen San Diego 3-Day is a 60-mile, three-day journey of support, hope and encouragement for those who want to end breast cancer forever. The Komen 3-Day values the generosity of companies like Dramm & Echter and their support in our mission.”

This will be the 8th year that Dramm & Echter has provided the floral donation to event participants. “The Susan G.
