Associated Behavioral Health Care, a treatment provider offering chemical dependency and mental health services throughout the Puget Sound region, announced today that its Bellevue and Kent facilities now offer transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) — making it the first and only provider of TMS in Southeast King County, where mental health services are in demand. Associated Behavioral Health Care is currently offering same-day TMS assessments at all four of its facilities located in King County.

Overlake Medical Center Invites Public to Open House at New Sammamish Clinic Saturday November 18

Overlake Medical Center logoOverlake Medical Center invites members of the Sammamish and greater Eastside community to an open house at its new Sammamish medical clinic, Saturday, November 18, from 9 am – noon.  A ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 8:45 am including Overlake CEO J. Michael Marsh, Sammamish Mayor Bob Keller, Overlake physicians Dr. Paige Kasai, Dr. Jessica McHugh and other Overlake providers and staff. With primary care opening on Monday, Nov. 20, and urgent care coming in January of 2018, the Sammamish Medical Clinic will offer Overlake’s high quality care services in the heart of the Plateau community. Bellevue-based Dr. Iman Majd Elected Chair of National Acupuncture Organization

Dr. Iman MajdThe National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) has elected Bellevue-based Dr. Iman Majd as the new Chair of its Academy of Diplomates, a separate chartered division of the NCCAOM designed to increase the promotion and advancement of NCCAOM Diplomates and the NCCAOM credentials. With the Academy of Diplomates, the Academy Board Chair has a significant impact on furthering this separately chartered membership division within the NCCAOM nonprofit organization. 

Dr. Majd, an NCCAOM Diplomate and a medical doctor combines acupuncture and other complementary modalities into his clinical practice at the University of Washington Physicians Network. He also serves as the Acupuncture Specialist Consult for University of Washington Neighborhood Clinics.
