Can you spare your change? You’ve likely been asked that question many times, walking down the street or checking out at the grocery store, and you may think that the nickels and dimes you donate don’t really make a difference. Well, think again! For 80 years, nonprofit March of Dimes [marchofdimes.org] has improved the health and saved the lives of several generations of moms and babies —and they did so largely with the support of small change donations. Now March of Dimes has gone digital with Coin Up.
March of Dimes was founded in 1938 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to fight polio.
