A Sad Day for AAA Properties in Bellevue, Washington

Today (now yesterday and beyond) was a very sad day for me and AAA Properties here in Bellevue, Washington.  I finally had to admit that I was not carrying my weight in my real estate business and that expenses have been higher than revenues for way too long.  It was a decision long time coming, but I had to finally cut the cord.  Still the same, it hurts and I miss working in real estate already – although I will still be working closely with some brokers and doing my own investing.

It does not hurt so much that I have shut down AAA Properties and sent all our real estate licenses back in to the state – it hurts that I had to because of lack of cash flow.  I know I’m not the first broker locally or nationally who has had to shut the doors, but I’ve kept my expenses very, very low and still have not been able to make it work.  Perhaps on another day in another market?

But in the meantime ….  I have really dove in head first into the internet marketing game.  My Millionairess, Stacia Loo has started to help me come up with ways to provide additional value and monetize some of the sites that I’ve spent years building – including BellevueBusinessJournal.com (buy an Eastside Business Directory listing) and the Eastside Entrepreneurs Social Network.  One of my current pet projects is LuxuryFitnessFun.com which is a lifestyle design blog which is focused around luxury, fitness (including eating clean) and fun (which can be a lot of things to a lot of people).  2012 is going to be a good year.  I can feel it!

BTW – I am still always looking for lease with purchase opportunities.  Ideal properties would be a horse property or a downtown Bellevue condo.  Please let me know if you know of any out there.  Thanks!
