Social Media is great, but can it help find someone a job? Even an old guy? I’m betting that it can. Starting February 1st 2010 (I guess this post is a little head start) I am going to launch a personal social media campaign to find employment. Over the coming days I will write about what I have to offer, my ideal situation and how I can help different types of businesses.
I’d love to have you engage in the conversation and let me know if you have any comments, referrals or suggestions. Once I am successful (and I know I will be), I would like to use the same formula to help others find suitable employment as well. This should be quite a fun ride – I hope you will join me.

An old guy? You? Wait til you hit 50, man.
You might be mid life crisis age, but you ain’t old.
Thanks Ira. I sure feel old sometimes, but mostly feel like a youngster trapped in an old guy’s body – although I only have three years to the big 5-0.
Joe, be careful what you wish for, do you really mean a j.o.b.? All kidding aside, as a fellow entrepreneur I appreciate how big a step it would be to go back to having a boss and everything.
I’m bet you are correct about social media and I’m happy to help make it happen. If you could distill what you’re looking for into a RT-able tweet and a longer one for FB, LinkedIn, etc I’d be happy to post them.

Thank you Gio. YES – I’m ready for a J.O.B. Unfortunately I have obligations that I have not been able to meet and I NEED a consistent paycheck. I’ve been working on my own for the better part of the last 5 years and I’m ready to get back to working with others and contributing to the success of an organization. I’ll work on the retweetable and repostable comments – thank you!
BTW Gio – You can also visit any article on this site and share through all your social networks thru the Share/Save buttons below each article. That’s a great way to help get the word out.
Thank you!
